He should get bam margera on there next hes getting back into skating after being out
Wow, under my rock Tony Hawk was dead. Guess that news was fake... welcome back!
I asked my 11 & 12 year olds if they knew Tony Hawk. When they said no I called them nerds.
Thank goodness Brian Redban is no longer interjecting his stupidity into the podcast.
Joe "There is this thing i am trying, is great, cranks me up, you should try it" Rogan
In other news I got out on my board yesterday at the age of 47 and rolled it back into the garage after 5 mins in order to preserve life and limb. lol
Tony has been spotted at the bohemian grove
one "100 million dollar spotty deal" everybody knows th... oh hang on, wrong channel..
You mean discreet...
the dude is Matt Tomasello!
i bet olympic skaters are glad Rodney Mullen is 50+ thesedays! Otherwise the battle would be for 2nd
My Dad just asked me what I was watching and I said “oh the Joe Rogan podcast he’s got Tony Hawk on it” and my Dad says “who’s Tony Hawk?” classic Dad stuff right there, even my Mum knows who Tony Hawk is.
Tony Hawk sounds like a stoner who Skates. #True
My first skateboard was in 1976 and it was aluminum...
this was a sick episode. you should get travis pastrana on here
That shit is crazy. When i was in Afghanistan they were acid attacking girls just for going to school
Love me some Tony Hawk but I gots to have my Bob Burnquist
The main thing I see among most recognised successful people in common is they had confidence not to listen to what others say about them and drive to follow what they enjoy. Quite often it involves enabling parents as well which aren't like go-get-good-education-to-become-a-good-cubicle-dweller. I mean, they might think it but let the kid follow his passion and support that.
Tom mattisio or whatever the fuck is the only one
It would be sick if y'all had Rodney Mullen on! He's the godfather of modern skateboarding.
Rob Dyrdek next
Wait, Jake Vail, the prankster, use to be a pro skater?
Move to spotify is a bad idea, being able to see the guest interaction is what makes this. Rip supercuts
Why he have to say Atlanta and Chicago when comparing the Ethiopian skate park 🤦♂️
Joe please tell Tony Hawk to make a movie from his video game Tony Hawks Underground. It's one of the best stories and it would be nice to see that come to life for tv compared to most things that are filmed nowadays. 🙏 Please tell him
Waiting until joe gets Lebron on the podcast
glad to see skating really coming back.
In Australia a BBQ is wh a t you do st home . We dont go out for bbq from a shop . Wierd . Thanks tony , for your contribution to Sk8ing . Sorry i ride s sector 9
Is it me or did I just receive a free TedTalk on personal goal achieving philosophy?
Tony Hawk is a Global icon He was doing tech tricks on vert in the 80’s That are still heavy to this Day!. Street Skateboarding is like a fight against concrete and metal Every time u skate.! The biggest hits I’ve ever taken Were dished out by concrete Not in actual fights,, I’d take a punch to the face over getting smashed on a 13 stair hand rail Any Day!!. Respect The Hawk Sheer Master .!!!🔥💯👍
I remember shooting our skate video on an old camcorder before the interent and smartphones, shit before cellphones. We only saw skaters in real life or in videos you had to buy and then go home and watch. Literally making it up as we went 😂, these kids will never know struggle 😂
Joe "the human dream" Rogan
the way he says "wave" is like the quintessential surfer dude voice. whehve
This dude look a lot like Tony Hawk. I wonder what he's been up to these days.
THE BIRD MAN !!!
Does he ask Tony of he's ever done DMT
You should have Jaws on, he's the most insane skater of all time
I swear the fuckin soundtrack to Tony Hawk's first 2 video games is seared into my brain
can't help but laugh at Joe whenever he says, "Oh woow"
Interview travis pastrana
Need to get Rob Dyrdek on
Was at La Jolla Shores for Memorial day and you couldn't set up with like towels and chairs. You could go play in the water but if you're on the beach, they wanted people moving around, walking or whatever. Had an area designated for surfing that people couldn't just hang out in the water. Parking lot was closed. Had to park on the streets. So bizarre.
This is a man I can't look at without hearing Superman
Just me who thinks he sounds like Steve-O?
I love Tony hawk, this dude is my childhood hero 👏👏👏👏👏🙌🙌👌👌
San Diego represent!
Tony Hawk mentioned Seth Rogen, which made me think that I can't be the only person who'd like to see Rogan interview Rogen.....
This really makes me want to see Rodney Mullen on the JRE. The godfather of street skating and an all around nice guy.
I grew up watching everything Tony Hawk did!!! I remember watching the first 900 live at the x games!! 🤘
Do a kickflip!!! Haha
I saw Tony hawk in Newport Beach hard Rock Cafe parking lot. 1994. He walked away with golds in every competition. The G.O.A.T. vert.
Joe is always asking the right questions
When I was a kid i got to see an event. After that i bugged my parents for a board. We built a halfpipe in my buddy's backyard. It lasted 2 weeks. when his older brother broke his leg flying out of the ramp, dad tore it down.
Where does Joe get all those great Print T-Shirts?
SOTY #1 on the podcast. Skate and Destroy/Create. Hell yeah, Rogen
Tony Hawk is such a cool humble dude, filling the room with positive vibes! what a legend
Anything that is a supplement developed by Bill Romanowski, I am not interested in it. The former FB player who is infamous for substance abuse and finding ways to play dirty. No way I am trusting anything from B. Romanowski.
Tony hawk pro skater... 🎶🎼
Rad Joe good guest get another skater on here
the fringe element doesn't like fringe hmmm go figure In the movie dogtown, it bugged me that the character Jay Adams basically shined on that slinky commercial because that would have changed his mother's and his lives for the better but he thought it was uncool and kind of sell outish. I mean if that did happen I bet he still or was (as he's dead now I think) kicking himself for not taking the money and looking stupid for a day cause ten k back then was a lot of money. You could buy three new cars with that. Ya man if you get good opportunities to improve your life definitely consider it. I bet if he had asked any of those dudes he hung with about it they would've ya take the friggin money buy a house so your mom aint working crappy jobs as much. I mean the money would have changed their lives and he was just being a selfish typical kid and that bugs me when kids do that, I mean does that bother anyone else when kids do that, I mean make stupid decisions that reflect on them the rest of their lives? Because that one decision played the biggest factor to Jay going down hill and not in a good way. Thanks Joe for doing this interview

Who's that guy Joe is talking to? He looks a lot like that Tony Hawk guy. Wonder what he's up to these days?
when I first heard that skateboarding was becoming an olympic event I thought it was a joke
Need to get Chad Muska on...that would be legendary.
1:35:43 “not huge but it’s fun” Lol that’s what she said.
He needs to have Rodney mullen on the podcast so he can explain where tech Street skating came from
Joe seems to know about a lot of things, skateboarding is not one of them
Awesome podcast, Tony Hawk and Joe Rogan two of the biggest names in their fields.
Tony didn't want to mention names but...Duane Peters and Tas Papas come to mind in both references...
He needs to have Danny way on the pod cast to talk about the great wall, mega ramp, and his cross training and general stories.
Get rob dyrdek on
love seeing action sport icons on your podcast, next up Scotty Cranmer? Bmx would benefit hugely from this type of platform.
So Tony Hawk and Steve Irwin are the best people to grace this planet in my lifetime
Would be awesome to see Tony get in good shape. After he's got to go confront his bullies from the 80s - look out Duane Peters!
